How do you change the battery in the remote control key of a Volkswagen Golf 7? Let's see how to do it in this video. We take the remote control and press the button to release the metal key. Once the key has been clicked, we go with a screwdriver to pry between the key cover and the plastic top cap. We pry until the cover opens. We remove the worn battery from the remote control cover, replace it with a new one of the same size and voltage. We reassemble the cover on our remote control by pressing on the remote control key until you hear the lock click. Finally we close the metal key in the remote control. We check the exact operation of the remote control.
