To replace the timing belt on this vehicle, the following guidelines will help, as this is a complex procedure that should be carried out by experienced personnel. First, remove the right front wheel and the inner wheel arch. Then, remove the auxiliary belt. Unscrew the bolts securing the engine mount and remove the crankshaft pulley. Next, take off the lower timing cover and then the upper timing belt protection cover. Position pins to lock the crankshaft and camshaft in place to avoid losing the engine timing. Finally, you can loosen the tensioner and remove the belt.
