Fuse Box of the Volkswagen Golf

This model from the German manufacturer has two fuse boxes containing all the electrical components that protect our circuits. The first fuse box is located in the engine bay on the left side, while the second box is inside the cabin, also on the left side, beneath the dashboard near the driver's side. The fuses for the cigarette lighter (power socket) of the Volkswagen Golf V are fuses #24, #26, and #42 in the dashboard fuse box. The complete diagram with all the fuses can be found in the vehicle's instruction manual.

How to Open a Stuck Boot on the Peugeot 407?

On the Peugeot 407, the boot may become stuck, possibly due to a problem with the control button or the lock actuator. In such cases, you can perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial. First, open the rear doors, then lower the seat back by operating the release lever. Next, go inside the boot, locate the lock, and manually operate it using a flathead screwdriver. The boot will then be free to open.
