If the smart key of your Volkswagen CC (2009-2015) has suddenly stopped working due to a dead battery, you need to replace it. To complete this operation correctly and independently, simply follow the steps below. First, fully extract the physical emergency key by pulling it out. Next, remove the metal part located at the top of the cover and use a flat screwdriver to open it. Finally, remove the dead battery and replace it with a new one (CR2032).
