In this mini guide, discover the steps to correctly and independently reset the maintenance light on the Volkswagen Golf Mk5. First, ensure that the car is completely off before starting the operation. Then locate the "0.0" button on the right side of the dashboard (just below the speedometer) and hold it down for several seconds. At the same time, insert the key and turn on the ignition. Release the button as soon as the message "Perform Service" appears on the display and press the "Min" button located below the rev counter. At this point, the reset is complete, and you can turn off the ignition.
