In order to replace the Volkswagen Passat heating radiator, you need to loosen the screws that secure the side panel of the footrest compartment on the passenger side. Once this panel has been removed, it will be possible to access the underlying components: in particular, it will be necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the pipes to the radiator. Subsequently, by accessing from the rear of the engine compartment, it will be possible to disconnect the additional pipes connected to the radiator. The latter can then be removed from its housing and replaced with a new spare part.
