How to Remove the Interior Light of the Volkswagen Golf 7?

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

Use a flat object to remove the upper plastic cover of the interior light, then unscrew the two Torx screws located on the sides. Also detach the plastic trim around the switch panel and remove the four screws underneath. By disconnecting the switch panel, you will see that there are still two Torx screws to remove. Once all screws are removed, proceed to unclip the plastic and disconnect the electrical connectors of the interior light. At this point, you can either replace any blown bulbs or proceed to replace the entire interior light if it is damaged.
