Operation: How to repair the tank flap of a Volkswagen Golf VII version

The car shown in the video is an E-Golf, but as the youtuber also says, the whole procedure can also be applied to a Golf-7, because the mechanism is the same. You will need some plastic caps and a 20 torx screwdriver, as well as the spare part, which you can easily find on e-commerce platforms by typing the code VEMO V10-77-0034. The cost is around 20.00 euros. We start by removing the painted part of the cap. Then we remove the screws that hold the rubber part in place. When we have lifted these, we have to unscrew them from behind with a ratchet wrench. Now we have to access from the rear, partially removing the upholstery of the car from behind the flap; only from here can we safely access the servomotor, remove it and reassemble the new one by putting it back in its housing and making the connector come out from the side of the flap. We put the rubber part back in its place, reconnecting the screws from behind with the ratchet wrench. Let's try the cap mechanism: if everything is in place we can put the painted metal part back in its place. Now we can close the parts of the upholstery that we have removed. The job is done.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
