How to Replace the Timing Chain on the Volkswagen Polo?

To replace the timing chain on the Volkswagen Polo, open the bonnet to access the left side of the engine block. Unscrew the screws securing the side cover of the engine, under which the chain is located around the respective sprockets. To remove the cover, you will also need to unscrew the screws accessible by removing the right front wheel and its wheel arch liner. Once the cover is removed, you can loosen the sprockets around which the chain is situated, particularly loosening the chain tensioner. The chain will then be removed and replaced with a new replacement part.
