Learn how to replace the shock absorber springs on a Volkswagen Transporter T5: first, lift the vehicle off the ground after loosening the wheel bolts. Use two jack stands to safely support the weight of the vehicle. Then, remove the wheels. To remove the shock absorber, you will need a 21mm socket. Take out the spring to be replaced and fit the new one in its place, compressing it with a jack. Reattach the shock absorber lever to its lower support and proceed with the other side. Then, refit the wheels and lower the vehicle back to the ground. Job done.
