How to Dismantle the Suspension of a Volkswagen Transporter

In this video, we will see how to replace a shock absorber on a Volkswagen Transporter. Lift the vehicle with a column lift and remove the alloy wheel. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the shock absorber's securing bolt. Disconnect the brake fluid lines from the shock absorber and detach the wheel hub from the axle. Unscrew the shock absorber from the inside of the engine compartment (remove the air intake kit), then extract it from the vehicle body. Compare the new part with the one you have removed. Begin the installation of the suspension by inserting it into the wheel arch, then reverse the steps for the rest of the operations.
