Resetting the Service Light on a Volkswagen Polo 5

This tutorial explains how to reset the service light on a 2013 Volkswagen Polo 5. Turn off the car and press the oil inspection button, which is the one on the left of the two buttons located between the speedometer and the rev counter. Hold down the same button while turning on the ignition. The monitor will then display the message "reset service for oil change?", so press the button on the right to confirm. Now turn off the ignition and repeat the previous steps until the car is started. Then press the left button again, and the message "Service reset - are you sure?" will appear: just press the right button, and the operation will be complete.
