Today, follow these simple steps to disassemble and replace the battery in the key fob for the Volkswagen Touareg. First, take the key fob in hand and lift the small tab to remove the physical key. Next, remove the side plastic of the fob, extracting the small tray along with the battery, as shown in the video. At this point, replace the battery with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); insert it the right way round, and finally reassemble the casing!
