To quickly and independently replace the battery of your Volkswagen Id 3 key, you only need a small flat-head screwdriver and, of course, a new battery (model CR 2032). Let's find out together how to do it. First, press the button on the left side of the cover and simultaneously remove the emergency key contained in the cover. Then, use the emergency key to remove the back cover and finally remove the exhausted battery with the help of the flat-head screwdriver. At this point, all that's left is to insert the new battery and reassemble the cover.
