Learn how to schedule automatic charging on the Volkswagen ID.3: go to the main menu, where you need to inform the vehicle of the time you plan to leave in the morning and the charge percentage you want to find at that time, ensuring the cabin is climate-controlled to a specific temperature. Locate the position of your charging point on the GPS and enter the programming section. You will have three distinct schedules for the days of the week. Also specify the climate control settings. Set the charging to 50% immediately, but ensure the vehicle is at 90% charge by departure. Input all these values. You only need to set the times when you want the energy to be drawn: for example, select from 10 PM to 7:30 AM. If you expect to have appliances running overnight, set the current reduction, and the vehicle will adjust accordingly. You can also set the automatic unlocking of the cable. Now, set the temperature you want the vehicle to be at tomorrow morning: exit the settings and go to the vehicle's stationary climate control menu. Here, specify the temperature you want the vehicle to be at tomorrow morning, along with heated seats and windscreen demisting.
