Let's see how to remove the airbag block from the Volkswagen Golf steering wheel. Turn the wheel until the left spoke is at the top, revealing a hole behind it where you can insert a short flathead screwdriver to push inward. At the same time, grip the center part of the wheel with your hands and pull until it releases. Now turn the wheel to bring the right spoke to the top and repeat the same procedure. Rotate the airbag block and, with the help of a flathead screwdriver, release the electrical connector from the column so that it can be completely freed.
