How to reset the Service warning light on the Volkswagen Transporter?

To reset the Service warning light on the Volkswagen Transporter, press and hold the button located on the central right side of the instrument cluster, just below the speedometer: while holding this button, insert the ignition key into the barrel and turn it to switch on the ignition.

Once the ignition is on, release the button on the right and then turn the button on the left side: this will completely reset the Service warning light, and you can now switch off the ignition.
