How to Reset the Trip Odometer on the Volkswagen Tiguan?

To reset the trip odometer on the Volkswagen Tiguan, turn on the ignition by turning the key in the ignition switch. Once the dashboard lights up, press the MENU button and navigate using the controls on the steering wheel. Select "Distance," then choose "Long term"; this will allow you to completely reset the trip odometer back to zero miles. After the reset, you can turn off the ignition by turning the key in the switch.
