To replace the armrest on the Volkswagen Touran, use a tool to lever off the plastic cover at the back of the armrest: once this is removed, you will be able to locate the screws underneath that secure the armrest to its support at the back. When the screws are loosened, you can completely detach the armrest from its location and then insert the new one; this should be securely fastened with screws to ensure it functions correctly.
