Resetting the service light on a 2007 Volkswagen Passat, model B6, is a very simple operation that should always be performed after completing all mandatory service actions at the workshop. First, turn on the vehicle's ignition and then press the button located to the right of the speedometer for about 5 seconds. Next, wait for all the warning lights on the dashboard to illuminate and start flashing, then press the button located to the left of the rev counter. Finally, wait for the warning lights on the dashboard to turn off.
