Resetting the service light on a 2005 Volkswagen Passat is a straightforward task that you can do independently by following our tutorial. To reset the light on a 2005 Passat, first press the button with the spanner symbol located on the instrument cluster on the right side. Hold it down until the light starts to flash, then release it and press the Menu button once, located on the left side of the instrument cluster. Press the spanner button again and finally turn off the ignition to complete the reset.
