In this short and simple guide, we will see the steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the EGR valve of the Volkswagen Passat 1.9 TDI. First of all, we open the engine hood and start removing the upper plastic cover; then we disconnect the EGR valve hose by unscrewing the metal clamp screw, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the fixing screws of our EGR valve to remove it; we clean it or directly replace it, installing the original one, applying the reverse procedure!
