Replacement of the Rocker Cover Gasket

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010
Part: Valve

Replacing the rocker cover gasket is an extremely simple operation that does not require special skills. Once the fixing bolts of the rocker cover are unscrewed, remove it from its seat and pull out the old gasket; then clean the gasket seat thoroughly, both under the cover and on the head, and apply the new gasket in the designated groove along the edges of the cover. Before repositioning the cover, apply gasket sealant at the engine supports and then position the cover and tighten the fixing bolts.
