Replacing the Exhaust Manifold Gasket

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010

Before installing the exhaust gas manifold, thoroughly clean the surfaces of both the cylinder head and the manifold to remove any dirt and deposits; then insert the new gasket, aligning it with the dowel pins, apply the manifold and the respective fastening nuts (it is not necessary to apply gasket sealant). Complete the tightening using a torque wrench and follow a cross-tightening pattern to ensure maximum adherence of the gasket to both surfaces and eliminate the risk of any leaks.
