Replacing the External Wing Mirror

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010

It often happens that when passing another vehicle, the external wing mirrors come into contact, causing the mirror to break. This replacement can be purchased from the aftermarket, but ensure that the mirror has a heating system. Disconnect the mirror's support plate by simply pulling it forward and disconnect the connector for the heating element. Attach the metal tab to the new mirror, bring it close to its housing to connect the connector, align the tabs with the corresponding support, and press it until it clicks into place.
