In this tutorial, you will learn how to reset the service light in a Volkswagen Passat, a very simple and quick operation, to be performed only after completing all required scheduled maintenance work. First, go inside the cabin, then insert the key but leave it in the initial position. Next, press and hold the "0.0/SET" button located to the right of the dashboard, simultaneously turn on the instrument cluster, and when the confirmation message appears, select "OK". Then restart the vehicle and check that the operation was successful.
