To replace the sun visor on the Volkswagen Passat, use a lever tool such as a screwdriver: this will allow you to detach the plastic cover of the clip located on the inner part of the visor. Under this cover, you will find the securing screw that needs to be loosened to free the visor from its housing: once this screw is loosened, you can slide the visor off its pivot on the opposite side for complete replacement. After removal, insert the new visor and secure it properly.
