How to reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Golf 6?

Inside the Volkswagen Golf 6, the procedure to reset the Service light is done by turning on the instrument panel to access the menu on the onboard computer. Now, scroll right using the arrows on the right side of the steering wheel until you find the "SETTINGS" option. At this point, scroll down to select "Service interval" and then "Reset". Selecting these options will display a confirmation message, where you need to confirm the reset by selecting "Yes" with the OK button; once the operation is complete, the panel can be turned off by turning the key.
