To reset the service light on a Volkswagen Passat model 3BG, follow these steps: - First step: turn on the ignition; - Second step: press and hold the right button on the instrument panel; - Third step: wait for the reset to complete; - Fourth step: release the button.

Once all the above steps are completed, turn off and restart the ignition to confirm the service light reset.

If the light does not reset, visit a garage for a check via the OBD port.
