How to reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Golf 5?

The Service light on the Volkswagen Golf 5 can be reset by pressing and holding the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster, which is marked with "0.0". You need to hold this button while the vehicle's instrument cluster is off; continue holding it, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch, and turn it to power on the instrument cluster. Once the cluster is powered on, you will see that the Service light will turn off after a moment; at this point, you can release the button and turn off the cluster completely.
