Resetting the service or oil change warning light on the Volkswagen Golf 7 is a straightforward task that you can do independently, aided by this video tutorial. To perform the reset, press the button with the four arrows while the car is completely off, then press the button in the centre of the instrument cluster and hold it until the display starts to flash. After a few seconds, the option for resetting the service will appear; at this point, release the button to complete the reset. If you want to reset the inspection light, follow the same procedure but only release the button after the second option appears after the service light.
