How to remove the airbag from a Volkswagen Golf MK7

In this video, we will see how to remove the airbag unit located at the centre of the steering wheel of a Volkswagen Golf when necessary. While seated in the driver's seat, start the vehicle to easily turn the steering wheel. Starting from the central position, turn it 90 degrees to the right; on the part of the steering wheel facing the instrument cluster, you will find a hole. Insert a lever and release a locking clip. Return the steering wheel to the central position and turn it 90 degrees to the left, repeating the previous operation on the hole at the back. Centre the steering wheel, turn off the car, and by pulling towards you the central part, it will detach. Remove the two connectors to take it off completely.
