In this video we see how when we find ourselves in the need to remove the airbag unit located in the center of the steering wheel of the Volkswagen Golf, we can proceed. Sitting in the driver's seat, we turn on the car to be able to easily rotate the steering wheel. Starting from the central position, we turn it ninety degrees to the right. On the part of the steering wheel facing the instrument panel, we will find a hole. We insert a lever and release a locking clip. We bring the steering wheel back to the central position and rotate it ninety degrees to the left. We repeat the previous operation on the hole in the back. We put the steering wheel back in the center, turn off the car and pulling the central part towards us, it will detach. We remove the two connectors to remove it permanently.
