How to adjust the handbrake of a Jetta A4

Model: Volkswagen Jetta A4, MK 4 - Years 1998-2005

The first thing to do when you want to adjust the handbrake of the Jetta A4 model is to remove the plastic surrounding it, to do this you will need to remove the two Torx screws on the bottom. Once removed, we can proceed with the maintenance of the brake. The second thing to do is to insert the key n°10 into the adjustment bolt and tighten it until we reach the safety level to set the handbrake. Once the brake is adjusted, we should pull the lever to verify that the mechanism has been properly adjusted. Performing this maintenance maneuver is not difficult and the time required is a maximum of 30 minutes.
