How do you replace the headlight bulb of the Volkswagen Passat?

In order to replace the headlight bulb of the Volkswagen Passat, you need to open the hood so that you can access the components inside the engine compartment: at the front of the compartment, you will be able to locate the front cover panel that can be removed by loosening the screws. Then, you can proceed by unscrewing the screws that hold the headlight assembly from the top, so that you can completely remove the headlight by disconnecting the connectors: the bulbs inside can then be removed and replaced with new replacement parts.
