How to Change the Position Light Bulb on a Volkswagen Passat B5

Let's see how changing a front light bulb on a Volkswagen Passat B5 is much simpler than on current models. The bulb is located behind the main headlight, accessible from the engine bay. Open the bonnet and locate the back of the headlight where the bulb holders are; remove the rubber caps covering the access to the headlight; the position light cap is the smallest one, with two wires (red/black and brown) coming out of it. Pull the bulb holder towards you by grasping the connector, which will detach with slight resistance. Change the bulb (W5W) by turning it 1/4 turn clockwise, without touching it with your hands, then place it back in the bulb holder and close the plastic cap.
