With use and the passage of time, the battery that powers the remote control that opens and closes the doors of the Volkswagen Golf runs out and we need to replace it. We take the remote control, press the button to extract the key, using a flathead screwdriver we lever on the edge that has been freed to lift the cover of the battery compartment. Once the cover is removed, we can remove the old battery and replace it with a new CR2032, being careful to install it with the positive pole facing upwards. We conclude the operation by closing the cover.
