Today we will explain how to replace the battery of the remote control for a Volkswagen Golf model 8. To replace the battery, we need to press the button on the side of the remote control itself. This will allow us to remove the top part of the remote control. After removing the emergency metal key contained inside the remote control, we insert the same blade into the side part in order to open the remote control in two parts. We remove the non-functioning battery and insert the new one, close the remote control, and assemble the top part. We test the operation of the remote control by going near the vehicle to press the open and close buttons.
