The remote control battery is one of the main causes of its malfunction and today we will explain how to replace the battery on a Golf model 7 car remote control by yourself. To replace the remote control battery, we need to use a flat-tip screwdriver that, once inserted into the removable part of the key, will allow us to apply enough pressure to remove the cover of the remote control. By pressing outward, we remove the old battery and then insert the new one. Close the remote control cover and test the key's functionality by going near the car.
