How to Replace the Key Fob Battery on a Volkswagen Golf 5?

To replace the battery in the key fob of a Volkswagen Golf, lift the emergency key by pressing the button located at the top of the fob. Once the key is lifted, pry inside its housing to detach the lower part of the fob from the upper part. The lower part should then be opened using a screwdriver to extract the battery inside. Once the new battery is inserted, close the fob and reattach the upper part.
