The following steps will guide you on how to disassemble and replace the battery in the key fob for the Volkswagen Golf. First, take your key fob and pry off the back cover to access the battery compartment, as shown in the video. Next, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2025 3V); insert it the right way round and reattach the plastic cover of the fob, finally checking that all buttons work!
