The procedure for replacing the timing belt on the Volkswagen Polo involves loosening the screws that secure the cover of the top of the engine block, along with the cover of the left side. Under this side cover, the belt will be found arranged around the respective pulleys: access to it will be necessary by removing the right front wheel and loosening the central nut of the tensioner roller to remove it and insert the new one. Once this has been inserted, it will need to be tensioned and all the components that have just been removed must be reassembled.
