Replacement of the antenna of the VAG car group

To replace the external antenna in VAG group cars, unscrew the rod leaving the base, open the rear hatch, release the trim at the end of the roof rail and lower it just enough to unscrew the nut at the base of the antenna: it is recommended not to overdo it to avoid creating permanent creases. Once the nut is removed, disconnect the cable connector and remove the antenna housing from the roof, insert the cable of the new base and position it, tighten the nut from below, connect the connector, put back the roof rail and insert the trim, close the hatch and screw the rod back in.
