How to Remove the Antennas from Volkswagen Cars

Changing the antenna on a car is quite simple, as the video shows. First, unscrew the antenna from the roof. Then, start working on the interior by gently removing the upper trim that secures the roof lining. Using a flathead screwdriver, bend the tabs of the clips that hold the lining in place, being careful not to break them. Lower the seatbelt regulator. Once done, remove the rear panels (boot side). Finally, you can access the roof lining and uncover the electrical part where the antenna is secured with wiring. Disconnect the antenna connection cable, remove the bolt securing the antenna base, and if necessary, you can also remove the ceiling handles. Once the bolt is removed, you can finally take off the antenna base.
