Where are the fuses located in the Volkswagen Transporter T5?

Each fuse of the Volkswagen Transporter is located inside one of the special fuse boxes that are installed on the vehicle. In this type of vehicle, three fuse boxes can be found: the first is located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side, which must be opened with the appropriate key. The second fuse box is located inside the engine compartment and the hood must be opened and the cover removed to locate it. The last "box", which actually contains only one fuse, is located in the front part of the passenger seat: it is the fuse for the cigarette lighter.
