In case the cigarette lighter socket of our Volkswagen Transporter van suddenly stops working, we can first check the condition of the respective fuse, whose location is indicated in this video. As shown, the fuse in question is located in the box inside the cabin, behind the door located in the lower left area of the dashboard, on the passenger side. It is a 15A fuse and is the first one in the lower right column. If it is faulty, make sure to use a replacement with equivalent specifications and always operate with the vehicle turned off.
