How do you reset the Service light on the Volvo V50?

You can delete the Service light that appears on the instrument panel of the Volvo V50 by holding down the button located on the right side of the instrument panel: the button must be held down while the instrument panel is deactivated. Then you will need to insert the key into the ignition and turn on the instrument panel, continuing to hold down the corresponding button: a flashing "i" will appear in the center of the display. When the icon has flashed three times, you can release the button, turning off the instrument panel; after it is turned on again, you can verify that the reset is complete.
