Ignition Coil Replacement

Obtain the correct replacement coil. You will need a few tools to access the coil replacement. Start by removing the metal cover by unscrewing the relevant bolts. Disconnect the ignition coil connector and remove the two retaining bolts with a ratchet wrench, taking them out manually to avoid dropping them. Now you can remove the coil by pulling it upward. Install the new coil, ensuring the high-voltage connectors are positioned correctly. Reinstall the two retaining bolts and reconnect the power connector. Replace the spark plugs if necessary. Perform a functionality test.

This video shows how to remove an EGR valve from a Land Rover Freelander. Lift the bonnet and secure it, then use a screwdriver to unscrew the locking pins of the ventilation pipe, removing the piece from the engine bay.
