How to Reset the Service Light on a Volvo V50?

Model: Volvo V50 MK 1 - Years 2004-2012

Insert the key into its slot and, before turning it to position 2, press the reset button for the mileage located on the instrument panel, near the display. Keep it pressed until the light starts to flash: only then can you release it. A sound will indicate that the procedure has been successful. When you hear it, turn the key back to the initial position and switch off the car. The service light should have been reset correctly: to check, start the car again and ensure that it has disappeared from the instrument panel.
