How to replace the front brake pads on a Yamaha YZF-R3?

Model: Yamaha Yzf R3
Part: Brake pads

Video tutorial

To replace the front brake pads on the Yamaha YZF-R3, you need to loosen the bolts that secure the brake caliper to its mounting: this is located at the front of the corresponding disc. Once the bolts securing the caliper are loosened, you can completely detach the caliper from its seat, allowing you to remove the pin that holds the pads: these can now be slid out of their seat to insert the new ones.

Secure them by inserting the pin and repositioning the caliper in its seat.
