In this tutorial we can see how to replace the front brake pads on the Yamaha XS 1100, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, position yourself in front of the brake in question, then unscrew the two fixing bolts of the caliper using a 14mm socket wrench. Then separate the caliper itself from the fork, unhook the indicated metal clip and remove the pin. At this point we can remove the old pads, clean the dirt present, compress the piston with a vice, insert the new parts and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
